Brooksfield Montessori School, in Northern Virginia, will host wellness speaker, Anita Capizzi, after the school assembly on March 17th. Capizzi is a Certified Health Coach and a registered nurse who will discuss the importance of moving away from the “S.A.D,” Standard American Diet. Brooksfield school, which houses preschool Montessori, kindergarten Montessori and elementary Montessori programs, believes in proper nutrition and encourages healthy eating habits with things such as Fresh Fruit Fridays. After all…you are what you eat. And, we want our children to eat foods that keep them healthy, strong and happy!
