Students in Brooksfield Montessori School’s Elementary music program have been learning many exciting musical concepts. In late Fall, they studied the history of the Orff instruments, including the xylophone and the glockenspiel. They even learned a new folk song and played along with the triangle and the drums. Most recently, the children in the Montessori elementary program were introduced to the instrument families: Brass, Woodwind, String and Percussion. If music is the universal language, these private school kids are talking up a storm!
