The primary Montessori and Kindergarten Montessori classes are alive with the sound of music! In January, the children, under the direction of their music teacher, John, took imaginary trips to Africa and Japan. In Africa, the children danced a traditional African dance called, Che Che Cole and in Japan, they learned that "konichiwa" means, "hello." The children also learned about rhythm, using wooden drum sticks to play along with a variety of songs. Brooksfield Montessori private school kids have the music in them!
