What do you teach at Brooksfield School?
Hello, my name is John Henry and I teach music here at The Brooksfield School.

What is your educational background?
I am a graduate of Towson University. 

What do you love about Brooksfield?
I love that every Friday we celebrate the magic of singing together and learning through music and movement. We use guitar and song, drum and dance as well as some of the greatest books ever written.

Why do you like teaching at Brooksfield?
I like teaching music to such delightfully open minded and creative children. Everything about Brooksfield is wonderful. For over twenty years, I have been looking forward to Fridays filled with learning, thinking and growing together. The positive spirit and laughter are so life affirming that I will continue to look forward to Fridays forever.

What sets Brooksfield apart from other Montessori schools? 
What sets Brooksfield apart are their emotionally intelligent, empathetic, calm and compassionate teachers. The office staff are always cheerful, calm and helpful. In fact, every single person at Brooksfield is wonderful.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself? Fun fact? 
It is widely rumored that I was born with a guitar in my hand : ) In fact, there was even a song written about it. Playing my music in the car on your way to school is guaranteed to improve your commute.
