What do you teach at Brooksfield School? What is your educational background?
I am the Extend Day Director and Camp Director at Brooksfield. I began my career here as a classroom assistant and later transitioned into my current leadership roles. I have been part of the Brooksfield community for 24 years.

What do you love about Brooksfield? Why do you like teaching at Brooksfield?
I really value the strong sense of community here. There’s a genuine warmth among students, staff, and families, and everyone supports one another, creating a positive and welcoming environment. The children truly thrive at Brooksfield—they are creative, kind, and happy during their time here.

Brooksfield stands apart from other Montessori schools due to its educational philosophy and exceptional staff. Their commitment to Montessori principles, combined with a dedicated and experienced team of educators, creates a nurturing and enriching learning environment for every child.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself? Fun Fact?
One of my favorite things to share is that many children who once attended Brooksfield later return as camp counselors. They often tell me they want to give today’s children the same wonderful experience they had while growing up at Brooksfield. I think that really speaks to the lasting impact the program has on them.
